Sun 96.9 FM is Alice Springs only local commercial radio station on the FM frequency. The station broadcasts from its premises on the Stuart Highway just outside Alice Springs with nightly, syndicated broadcasts from a local pub, Bojangles.[1]
Its sister station, 8HA (AM 900 kHz), is the only commercial station in the Northern Territory to be broadcast on the AM band.
